Sa-18 surface to air missile, also known as 8 "grouse" (Russian code 9k38 "needle"), is a portable surface to air missile system developed by Russia. It entered the army in 1983 and is used to replace SA-7 and attack low-altitude mobile and non mobile targets and hovering helicopters.
