I made this guide because INSANE is the only thrilling difficultiy that made this game areal ALIEN lore game!

Listen up Marines, this is not more bootcamp! This is the real fight with xenos!

Watch carefully the rules!



1- AVOID FRIENDLY-FIRE

You can easily kill your team-mates and alone you don't finish the mission!
DO NOT STRAFE! AVOID TO GO ON FRIENDLY LINE OF FIRE!!

2 - ENEMIES HAVE A LOT OF LIFE

This is a crucial part , YOU HAVE TO KILL XENOS QUICK! Your guns need to kill xenos fast!
I talk later on which attachments you really need on your guns.

3 - XENOS GRAPPLE CAN KILL YOU!

You are a team of 3 marines if you play defensively or not, put a "stumble" a "knoking target" or a "stun effect" perk on your kit. REMEMBER TO USE IT TO SAVE YOUR TEAMMATES!!! DON'T WASTE!!

4 - DOWNED MARINES
Doc increase downed marine timer with a perk.
All kits are properly fitted to be used against xenos!!!
Stop complain and adpat!
ALL KITS PROPERLY PLAYED ARE GOOD!!!

- ATTITUDE

TAKE IT SERIOUSLY MARINES!! YOU ARE THE SHORE PARTY AND MISSION IS ON YOU ALL!!!

REMEMBER YOU ARE 3 COLONIAL MARINES AS YOU STAY TOGHETER YOUR FIREPOWER IS HIGH TO KILL ALL THE TREATS!! TEAMPLAY IS MANDATORY.

-NO MORE STRAFE/MOVE LATERALLY

DO NOT STRAFE TO AVOID FRIENDLY FIRE!! MANDATORY IN HALLWAY AND TUNNELS!
Try to use this card to practice to not strafe laterally



- CONSUMABLES

Use consumables like CRYOGRID and ASSESMENT DRONE to deal with biggest targets.

Longest mission required 2 members with CONSUMABLES flame or electric turrets to help cleaning waves of xenos on defensive last stand!

- CRYOGRID is a STANDARD CONSUMABLE FOR THE WHOLE TEAM.

WEAPON STARS, USEFUL PERKS, GOOD ATTACHMENTS AND DAMAGE OUTPUT

I reccomend full stars weapon to play, but wich ones?! I explore this in another chapter of this guide.

Strongly recommended to have all the useful perks on your kits and the good attachments to deal with xenos.

Synths mission require high damage and high precisions guns!!! HEADSHOT PLZ!!!

-MEDS

DON'T WASTE MEDIKITS!! HEAL FOR 1100 HEALTH ON INSANE ARE RARE!!!

A lot of Marines are veterans that finished all campaign on insane, listen to them!

The only commnunication usefeul in-game is PING!



You need to be a professional Marines ear ping and react properly!!!

In most maps you can find choke point to deal easy against waves of xeons, don't rush and listen pings of your teammates!!.

Often you have to trigger event and retreat to your teammates holding a defensive position in a choke point.

DON'T BE STUPID!! ADAPT TO SURVIVE IF YOU FAIL DON'T DO THE SAME THING OR TACTICS ADOPTED BEFORE!! TRY SOMETHING NEW!!

All weapons are viable when you are a vet and know how to aim properly but you need proper attachments to kill xeno quickly!!

Generally you need to have an high output damage per second to kill xeno fast or xenos will kill you.

1 - FEW AMMOS
You have less ammo than other difficulties, so put the HIGHEST AMMO ATTACHMENTS [MAX AMMO ] you have in your weapons even if you have a good Recon marine at your side.

2 - DAMAGE
Weakspot damage! yes! Put the highest bonus you have and aim for the big head!!

3 - RELOAD
Sometimes some weapons need to be reloaded as fast as they can TO FILL XENOS WITH BULLETS!!

4 - OTHER BONUSES

There are a lot of other bonuses that can be used but remember: you need to kill xenos not waste 2 ammo clips to kill one drone runner alone!

DAMAGE PER SECOND
At beginning I strongly reccomend high damage per second weapons, CHOOSE for gun with high damage and high weakspot point.

THERE IS AN OPTION THAT SHOW YOU HOW MANY DAMAGES EVERY SHOT DO! SWITCH IT ON!!

ALL KITS ARE GOOD AGAINST XENOS

USE YOUR ABILITY! CHANGE YOUR PERKS TO DEAL DAMAGE AND SLOW, BLEED, STUMBLE, KNOCK AND STUN XENOS !!



The gunner is a damage dealer , with this kit keep in mind that your priority are elites and special xenos! Don't waste your kit space on your grenade with perks like sticky bomb or blast wave, put bleeding effect and stun on it.



A lot of xenos , who cares when you have HEAVY WEAPONS! Focus your combat effort to kill all the xeno runners! REMBER YOU CAN SAVE YOUR GRABBED TEAMMATES WITH YOUR ABILITIES THAT PUSH BACK ENEMIES AND BROKE GRAB!!



Use brain! Launch Coils then deploy your turret!!! This kit is very useful for choke point and defensive combat! Use coils to slow down elites and specials stick coils to them!



To trigger your passive ability called FOCUS you need HEADSHOT KILLS with this kit use sniper guns or carabines. Use a good secondary weapons to trigger this ability too, HEADSHOT KILLS



This is an all around class but choose your perks correcly with your weapons.



This kit is a good choice for a synths mission, even synth sniper can't penetrate your shield



This support kit support your team combat effort on the longest mission, use suppression station perk on your medi-station!! is a must! and use high damage carabines!!
