How to change price
Historical price for crypto in game are placed in game/data folder, i.e. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Crypto Miner Tycoon Simulator\data
, BTCprice.csv DOGEprice.csv ETHprice.csv LTCprice.csv XMRprice.csv

There are 2 columns in the csv file. First column being the time in unix timestamp, it is seconds since year 1970. We can use websites like www.epochconverter.com to convert timestamp into human readable date. Second column is the price itself.

The csv files get read upon starting the game... so restart the game whenever you edit price.

Example of how to change price on 2010-10-02
1. Look for price for 1286060862 in BTCprice.csv , it should be 0.06145
2. Edit price then save and close the file
3. Restart the game

In case anyone is interested, I posted about making 11 Million in the first scenario without editing or cheating within the first 8 months here: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/app/1859290/discussions/2/4204741588977461049/

As long as you know prices ahead of time (the dream of any quant/trader), you cannot help but get rich.

Yes it will still go to 400 in 2014. u can also make a backup of the price file before changing anything.

I mean if I make it 200 in 2013 and its supposed to go to 400 in 2014, will it still? or will that be altered based on the starting value

the game follows the price of the file. it will be whatever value u give it instead of 200 in 2013

will it follow the same timeline if you just edit the initial price? like if its gonna be 200 in 2013 will it still be if i make it cheaper earlier?
