LCG-18 Flintlock Air Defense Barge

The LCG-18 "Flintlock" Air Defense Barge is a modern take on an old platform. The needs for local area air defence did not just stop at the task group, the Newquay Army and Marines realised that their landing crafts and amphibridges were vulnerable on approach to a beach landing to both helicopters and attack aircraft, realising a need for air defence near beaches the army put out a tender for a platform to fill the gap, resulting in the LCG-18 Design. The LGC-18 is a modern iteration of the Flak Barges seen in history, utilising the JTAC-ADV Blk II Fire Control System, the "Flintlock" is able to take down enemy aircraft with accurate heavy firepower, it's double hull design providing great stability. If necessary it's shallow draught can be used to provide direct fire support to troops ashore. The vessel is also capable of keeping pace with both the LCB-1 Amphibridge and L-568 Landing Craft Vehicle Personnel with a maximum speed of 30 knots, and a cruising speed of 12 knots.

HOW TO USE:

HOW TO START:
- Go to the Wheelhouse/Bridge
- On the left turn on MAIN POWER BREAKER
- On the right, turn the ENGINE IGNITION key.
- Wait until the engines have started.
- Throttle UP to go forwards and throttle DOWN to go backwards.

TO MANUALLY GUIDE THE WEAPONS:

- Go to the BRIDGE
- Press ACTIVATE SYSTEM
- Press TGT and then LAS, point where you want to shoot.
- Press the desired weapon to arm, (L30M rely on the JTAC-ADV system to function!)
- Choose between SINGLE/AUTO Firerate (Single will retire pulling the trigger twice on spawn to load first)
- Fire using your trigger button (Default = Spacebar)

TO GUIDE THE WEAPONS WITH RADAR (Make sure the fire control radar is aimed at a target):

- Press ACTIVATE SYSTEM
- Press TGT
- Press your desired weapon to arm.
- Fire using your trigger button (Default = Spacebar)

BUTTON DEFINITIONS:

- MANUAL CONTROL: This will let you take control of where the fire control radar points at.

- TGT: Abbreviated for "target", this will point all the guns at the radar/laser target you are looking at. It will also transmit GPS coordinates of that target via radio.

- LAS: Abbreviated for "laser", this will turn on the laser and send laser gps co-ordinates and allow you to point the guns where the camera is facing.

- RECEIVE JTAC COORDINATES: The turrets will point at received JTAC coordinates. This requires another transmitter to be actively transmitting coordinates on the same frequency to work.
