Look, this one trick will make being a wizard so much better.

What you do.
Take the metamagic feat "Eschew Materials"

BOOM, now all spells requiring spell components need no components. The only downside is spells requiring components cost 2 more spell points. BUT IF YOU'RE A WIZARD, you have PLENTY of spell points. So it's no real biggie.


Now you can go cast fireball like a crazed lunatic or be the sleep wizard. Idk.

I'm like level 5 and even I know this is practically the easiest way to pointlessly nerf yourself.

i used the one where you roll int instead of dex on saving throws or w/e, seems like it will help to balance out my squishiness a bit.

OR I could just not do that. I'm not a meta builder, and I don't really like being short of components. So boom I slightly up my casting cost and don't have to worry about anything.

OR you can just buy a stack of 1000 components for the prices of a ham in tavern and rock without spending a feat hmmm
