If you've played casual for a couple of rounds you will have noticed that every 5-10 rounds the buttons which allow you to vote for the next map at the end of the round will break and you will not be able to vote.

Despite Valve claiming to fix this issue in their June 21st 2022 update (Fixed sometimes not being able to vote on maps at the end of the round.) the issue still persists.

This guide will show you how to still participate in the vote and choose a map.

If you don't have the developer console enabled you can do by following the steps below.

1. On the main menu select 'Options'.
   
2. On the window that opens then choose 'Advanced'
   
3. Then tick the 'Enable developer options' and click okay.

By default opening the console is bound to the backtick ` key.
This is the key above the left tab key on a US layout keyboard. However you can change this bind in settings.

When the round finishes and you can't click on any of the maps to vote you can still participate by using the console command
next_map_vote X
Where X represents the number 0, 1 or 2.

• next_map_vote 0 - Votes for the option on the left.
  
• next_map_vote 1 - Votes for the option in the middle.
  
• next_map_vote 2 - Votes for the option on the right.

So when the round finishes and you want to vote for the middle option

1. Open the console by pressing ` (or the bind you have chosen).
   
2. Type next_map_vote 1
   
3. Press enter.

That's It! It's that easy!

Hopefully this issue gets fixed soon, but in the meantime you can just use this command.
