Trade urls are used mostly by automated trading websites in order to process a trade, they do this by sending trade offers which is what a trade url's purpose is.

However they can be used to get an ordinary person to send trade offers in a similar fashion by which when it is clicked on, the activator (You c:) gets sent to their trade offer page!

- A friend in your friends list
- The ability to chat to them (without sending a message)

Head over to the corner of your steam interface to where it says "FRIENDS & CHAT" because this is where you can chat to friends clearly

Once the friendslist pops up, head to a friend of yours (I hope you have one) and next to their name there will be an arrow similar to this "v". Click on the arrow and select the option "Send message".

You will see an option that says "Share Trade URL" which is exactly what we need! go ahead and click it and it will appear in the message box, do not click enter but instead highlight it all and copy it! Now you have your trade url ready to be sent to people!!!!!!

- Be able to breathe oxygen

At the top of your steam interface, you should see "STORE LIBRARY COMMUNITY [Name]" Where [Name] is your steam display name, hover over your [Name] and go to "Inventory"

Once in your inventory, go to where it says "Trade Offers" and click on it, you will be taken to your trade offers that are being accepted, awaiting mobile confirmation or declined (Or on trade hold)

On the side of the new list it should say "Who can send me trade offers" in which you click on that!

Scroll down until you see "Third-Party sites" because this is exactly where your trade URL is! Copy and BOOM, you can be send trade offers when you paste it anywhere!
