Destroy 50 enemies with a single attack.

For this you'll just want to find a carrier and kill it. Pick up it's super weapon and use it when there's a lot of enemies. Blazing difficulty will have the most enemies present at any one time.


Unlock all modifications.

This will unlock after getting 100,000,000 total lifetime score.

Unlock all weapons.

This will unlock after getting 80,000,000 total lifetime score.

Complete 15 stages in a row without overheating.

I recommend using the "Shotgun" weapon and the "Radiator" mod for this as the shotgun has the best heat control on my opinion and the radiator keeps your weapon from overheating as much. This can be done at the same time as other achievements if you'd like, or on it's own on any difficulty if you're having trouble with it.


Defeat the boss on hard or higher difficulty.

This is the hardest achievement in the game. Ultimately, no amount of text or video guides will be able to help you get this if you don't yet have the skill to get it. I will, however, put some tips below that will hopefully help anyone having trouble.

My first tip would be to use whatever weapon you are best with. The weapon I used to get this was the Shotgun, which I found the easiest to use because of the spread, high damage, and low overheat buildup. Unlock Weapon Master if you'd like to experiment with all the weapons first.

Tip number two would be to use the Radiator mod. This will keep you from being vulnerable after overheating or having to be as cautious with your shots. Of course, use the mod that best fits you if Radiator isn't doing it for you. Unlock Modification Master if you'd like to experiment with all the modifications first.

The third piece of advice I can offer is to keep in mind, you only get as much health has you start with and can never heal for all 15 rounds. Avoid taking damage at all costs, especially early on, and make sure to use super weapons and powerups if you get them.

My fourth and final tip is that you should be careful about what modules you choose to take. Not each module is equal in adding difficulty to the run, and some can be almost run ending on their own. A link to two guides on other sites will be provided below. I couldn't hope to make a better list than these two guides have done, which is why I'm choosing to link them. These two guides will have lists of the modules based on what you should and shouldn't take and descriptions of each module.

Reach a lifetime score of 1 billion.

It is possible that if you're having enough trouble with Boss Eater, you will end up getting this while going for it, however, that is unlikely for most people. You can also earn this by just playing for fun over time.

If you'd like to grind this out, I recommend waiting until you've gotten every other achievement first. After that, go to the title screen and click "Play". After clicking play, click "Design" and add every module. Save the mode and play it on "Blazing" difficulty. My recommendation would be the "Shotgun" weapon and the "Radiator" mod, but ultimately, just use whatever you're most comfortable with. Play like this over and over again, until you get this achievement. You don't need to win or do it in one sitting. This is the fastest way to accumulate score. This is also the fastest way to get Modification Master and Weapon Master.
