----- Introduction -----
The most recent update might be a little confusing and im not sure how to tutorialise it in game

So i thought id make this guide to try and help explain how to use it for reference

And hopefully making it a steam guide it can maybe encourage others to contribute tips and tricks and things ive missed

----- Preparing a model for painting -----
You can do this many ways, but the easiest way I have found so far is to load the object into blender

UV -> Smart uv -> give a little border with island margin (i usually do 0.02) then click ok

Then your done, just export and import into pixel palette creator

To import into pixel palette, either drag and drop the file onto the screen

Or open it manually through the file manager in the settings

----- Controls -----
There are 2 states you can be in when painting

Camera mode, and painting mode

I wanted to separate the 2 because i don't like the typical orbit cameras, when it comes to big or overlapping objects i find myself fighting the camera more then actually working but it does make things a little bit more complicated

Camera mode

Tab to swap to painting mode

W A S D to move as you would expect

Q and E to move vertically

Camera to look around

Painting mode

Tab to swap to camera mode

Left click to paint

Right click to rotate

Shift + left click to draw line

Scroll to select target color (shown top right)

Left shift and scroll to change brush size (controlled)

Control and scroll to change brush size (fast)

In either mode

Press space to start turn table mode, not really meant to be used but can be nice to look at your work and take little videos so i left it in

----- UI -----
Select your brush

Clear - Resets brush

Softness is how much paint to apply each stroke

Hardness is falloff distance from center

Tile is how much your brush tiles

Select Rendering type (from left)

Default

Retro

Color - What shade of color your painting with

Mirror - Horizontally mirror the brush strokes

Transparency, toggle to paint with alpha

Return - Back to palette screen

Object panel - can have multiple of these with obj groups, represents information of the selected object, orange when selected

Resolution - Upscale or downscale the object

Edge - Increase of Decrease edge buffer of object

Layers - Add a new layer or remove selected layer from object

Select which layer to paint with

----- Tips for Usage -----
Slowly build up and subtract the color for shading

Working in hi res then crunching down and tweaking later is easier then upscaling from a low res image

Object mode is great for patterns, but view mode is usually better for sporadic detail

And if you see lines start to appear at the seams remember to increase your edge buffer
