I'm actually curious do you know if downgrading the game would prevent me from getting the achievements?

This no longer works for me since the newest update. It worked after I used this guide: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1086279994 to revert to an older version. (Essentially, use steam://open/console in your browser, then use download_depot 242550 242551 7023393112660909484 in the console, THEN use this guide.
