Step 1. Find and Edit GameUserSettings.ini
Close the game

Locate your game engine files which should be at %LocalAppdata%\MultiVersus\Saved\Config\WindowsClient\

Open GameUserSettings.ini in your favorite notepad app

Set FrameRateLimit= to your desired new fps cap then press save

go back to Windows Explorer and set the file to Read-Only (as i had issues with notepad++ doing it) and then launch the game and simply toggle off and on vsync in game. and boom

very similar to achieving the same thing in Dead By Daylight

(Continuing testing to try to get it to stay uncapped it works but like after every match it breaks or something and toggling v-sync fixes it)

yea this isn't working like it should. Once I get in a match it reverts to 60 fps and I have to F11 twice to get it to work...

using either f11, alt + enter, or alt-tabbing makes the game windowed so im guessing the window resolution is 900p

thats odd mine doesn't go to 900p, or are you using f11 to get it to uncap it again bc i haven't had an issue with the resoultion changing

Have you found a way to keep it uncapped yet without pressing f11 twice? Or is there at least a way to make my game not go from 1080p to 900p whenever i do it
