Move SteamVR off the C drive

Make sure you have a Steam library on your destination drive. It sounds like you already do, but this step is for someone else who might find these instructions. To do this, just use Steam to install any game to your target drive, and it will create a Steam directory there with SteamApps.
Quit SteamVR and Steam. To make sure SteamVR isn't running, it might help to unplug your Oculus/Vive, make sure Steam doesn't run at startup, and reboot.
Move the SteamVR directory from Steam\SteamApps\common of your old drive into Steam\SteamApps\common on the new drive.
Move appmanifest_250820.acf from Steam\SteamApps of your old drive to Steam\SteamApps on the new drive. Make sure you don't leave a copy on the old drive!
Press Windows-R and run this:
notepad "%APPDATA%\..\Local\OpenVR\openvrpaths.vrpath"
Change line under the "runtime" section to point to your new drive's SteamVR path. Ex:
"runtime" : [ "D:\\Steam\\steamapps\\common\\SteamVR" ],
Make sure there is only one location here, delete all extraneous location references.
Restart Steam.

Is helpful if you are running out of space on your C drive, which I was at the time I wrote this.

What's the reason to do this? i'm just browsing to see if I can find some VR tips and tricks... :)
