The initial release may have come with a broken Talent Development Map that makes the game actually unplayable, so I feel it is of the highest importance to share any solutions to that problem that have been confirmed to work at least for some people. This one has been confirmed to work for a few people (me included), that said, this solution does not originate from me, but from the user Klepya (though they may have gotten it from someone else as well). However, since their post can be hard to find if you aren't checking the discussion boards carefully, I figured I should make this solution public as a guide.

This is what you will have to do for this solution:

-Go into your computer's Configuration and find your Region Settings.
-Change your Regional Format to English (United States).

You can then try and start Danganronpa S again to see if it worked.
