Crown Farm (Visual Aid)

A visual reference and checklist for crown farming. This guide follows the Sunbreak and Rise Guild Card order. I originally made this guide for friends, but decided to share it to serve as a reference for those on the Switch or PC players who do not use overlays/mods.

Information on quests will be added and sourced from Kiranico[mhrise.kiranico.com] when possible. MR quests typically have higher base odds (6/10) for crowns than LR/HR. I will add information with the visuals if there is a quest with significantly higher than average odds.

Please check the bottom of the guide for the easy tracking spreadsheet I have created.

Visual Guide to Crowns [Sunbreak + Rise]
These are in Guild Card order for convenience.

A Mega Barrel Bomb and female Hunter are used as gauges for size against sleeping monsters. Weapon swapping is incredibly easy in this game, so this method should only be a minor inconvenience.

  • Updated monsters will have a star icon ★ next to them to denote added or updated content.

Leave constructive criticism on which shots need to be updated and include a better spot to measure. Keep in mind, all pictures must be under 2MB so scaling down is due to Steam not aesthetic choice.

Ratings and comments help me gauge the use of the guide and will help me determine if more time should be put into keeping it up-to-date on steam.

I believe for the Basarios crowns I saw that the crowns were confirmed for the follower request with the double basarios

I think Master Rank Event Quest Flash of Inspiration gives 100% for small Astalos. I did the event twice. Got the crown the first time, and second time it looked pretty small as well.

I apologize for the slow down, a bit sick and had to rebuild my PC so some of the shots were lost. Not to worry though! Back at crown gathering. Keep an eye out for more updates!
