Operation coins are a type of coin received by purchasing an operation pass. The coin can be upgraded through a variety of different challenges completed during the operation. After the operation has concluded, operation coins will remain in the player's inventory, but can no longer be upgraded. Similarly, once an operation has finished, a user can still redeem an operation pass to receive an operation coin, but it will be locked on the coin's lowest level.

The Map Contributor Coin is a coin rewarded to authors of community created maps selected for inclusion in operations. Once a new operation is started, the included map's author(s) receive the coin automatically in his or her inventory with the Prototype Extraordinary Collectible quality. Each Map Contributor Coin shares the same design, with "CS:GO Contributor" adorning the top of the coin and the name of the map on the bottom.

Collectible Pins were added on February 26th, 2015 & available exclusively at Valve-sponsored events such as ESL One, DreamHack, or Valve-sponsored Major tournaments. Attendees of such events can purchase a physical collectible pin package. The physical package contains a random pin of varying rarity much like actual cases. The package also contains the redemption code redeemable for a virtual pin capable of being displayed on the in-game profile much like coins. On May 31st, 2016, players were first able to purchase Series 1 pins in-game, but these pin variants were not genuine. Players could also purchase physical pins at this time from WeLoveFine, which contained a code for genuine collectible pins. The Half-Life Alyx pin series did not come with any physical pins except for the Lambda Pin[valvestore.forfansbyfans.com], which did not come with a code. The Genuine Alyx Pin was awarded along with the Anti-Citizen Music Kit by pre-ordering Half-Life Alyx, the Valve Index system, or Valve Knuckles controllers on Steam.
