“ent_remove_all env_lightglow”. The performance issues are due to the cats eyes and I’m working on an alternative.

Synopsis
Your car has broken down on a muggy, rainy summer night. Some questions spring to mind though...

• Why DID the car break down?
  
• Why have the police closed the roads in and out of the village?

Features
This project has taken me around 7 months from conception, through prototyping to final release. There is a DIRE shortage of UK and British maps in the workshop. My previous UK projects have proved popular, so if you're a fan of that vibe, this will be perfect for you.
In this BIG map, you can expect to find:

• A highly detailed quintessential Yorkshire style village
  
• An accurate UK road network complete with authentic signs, cat's eyes & potholes
  
• The moors in all their desolate, barren beauty
  
• An accurate, to-scale recreation of the M62 over Saddleworth Moor
  
• Highly informative hiking trail signs
  
• Those stunning sodium night lights
  
• True-to-life UK sounds
  
• A feeling of dread that only the Yorkshire Moors at night can provide
  
• Open skybox
  
• Plenty of custom assets and textures available for use with credit
  
• Perhaps something more?

This is an original creation inspired directly by the areas I grew up in. All details have been meticulously recreated as close as possible to reality, and as much as the Source Engine allows.

Please note, the map requires a decent computer to run. The complexity and size means optimisation has been done to the best of its ability, but FPS drops could still occur on some machines.

FAQs
Q: Why do I spawn with no weapons?
A: It is the intended way as it is an atmospheric map. Weapons can be spawned in the usual way if you wish to.
Q: The FPS is low. How do I fix?
A: Further optimisation is in progress. In the meantime try disabling some addons.
