There are two different 'events' in Pickle Clicker that are dictated by time: Pickle Jars and Pickle Thieves. Each event provides the player with a bonus. In the current version of the game, the Pickle Thieves are the only event that require the attention of the player as they are necessary in perfecting the game.

Pickle Jars pop up in random places on the screen approximately every minute and last for approximately 2 seconds, unless they are clicked. Clicking a Pickle Jar rewards the player with Pickle Coins (which do not yet have a purpose).

Pickle Thieves (also known as Poglins) blow their raiding horn and start to appear from the outer edges of the screen approximately every 2 minutes and their raids last for approximately 5 seconds unless the raiders are clicked (killing them) and then clicked again (bagging them). If killed, but not clicked a second time, they will stay on the screen until they are clicked for the second time.
