if i find a solution at some point i am going to update this.
this is the reason why you need to apply this tweak if you want to have it permanently.
Thanks for writing this as I know some people are looking for this kind of stuff.
1. when there's a patch you can go get a coffee or something and don't have then to launch & wait for the loading time when you're back. (i think that sounds a little bit more complicated than what i'm trying to say
2. you can put it in a batch file which is reliant on the "quick" launch of the game.
i'll do another guide on that, for people who have problems with the steamoverlay when running programs hooking into directX (like fraps). it's the groundwork for that upcoming guide.
