This gets its own separate video because it is often one of the most overlooked strategies for vax shield medic yet it is one of the most powerful strategies.

Manually revive then use your vax uber at the very end right before it reaches 100% revive progress.

Extending from what was known previously, vax uber gives +90% revive progress on uber when reviving. This +90% revive progress also transfers into shield progress as demonstrated in video #13.

What is often unclear is that the +90% revive progress is forced, meaning that you will heal an additional +90% revive progress no matter what the current revive progress is at. Likewise, this also transfers into shield progress.
For example, by manually healing 99% of the revive, then using an uber to trigger another +90% bump in revive progress. You will have healed 189% of the total healing required to completely revive someone. Likewise, this 189% transfers towards your shield. Therefore you end up with +89% more shield progress than manual reviving and vax uber reviving when below 10% revive progress.

Vaccinator is the only medigun that can take more shield progress than what is given by the reanimator because all other mediguns are restricted to manual healing without any bumps in progress.

The use cases for this strategy are endless.
It takes away most of the revive count requirements to build a full shield from a single death, with the most notable being reviving a kunai spy.

It's true that this strategy does take some time as you are shieldless and not healing anybody else. But remember that you may also spam revive to make the downtime shorter. Just remember to pop an uber at the very last moment.

COROLLARY
Since the manually reviving takes time and ideally you want to minimize your downtime, instead of always manually reviving to near max revive progress, an extra strategy is to not watch the revive meter but to watch your shield meter.

If you manually revive up to half of your shield meter from empty, then it can be proven arithmetically that popping an uber at any time past the 50% mark will put you within overhealing distance or exactly at full shield without needing to manually revive any longer.

This is useful for when you are hesitant if popping an uber at near 0% revive progress will give you an instant full shield or not, such as if a teammate dies only a few times but not a lot.

Shown in the demonstration is two revives.
The wave was reset between the revives, therefore the revive health of both instances are the exact same.

The first revive is fully manual. Notice how the shield meter only charged to exactly half of the meter.

The second revive is a manual heal with a vax uber revive at the very end. Notice how the shield meter is charged to a much greater extent.
