@Be Very Afraid - I'm sorry to hear you have problems. I've just tested the game on my system and it works just fine. I'm on Windows 10, RTX 2060 and a 1080p monitor. I'm not sure if higher resolutions or other formats than 4:3 or 16:9 can crash the game, neither if AMD GPUs cause issues.
- Try setting the resolution to 1600x1200 in config.exe and see if it crashes again - you can also try modifying the Frequency;
- Try forcing the game to run in 60 FPS or at your monitor's refresh rate (I set mine on 75 FPS using Riva Tuner);
- Ultimately, I recommend uninstalling the game, delete the game folder from Steam's "common" folder and try again from the beginning, making sure you don't skip any step.
Check other guides to see if others encountered the same issue. Other than that, I don't know what the problem could be...
