Benefits and Cons of this are the following:

Pros:
- Heroes/Guards/Etc don't rely on Spirit for extra dice explosions (Guards are actually scary and not just pushovers!)
- Automatic Quest Completion (You don't have to click the icons once they are done spinning around, just wait and receive the outcome)
- Ghor being a mage and not a tank as he was designed
- Barely any crashing while online play!
- You keep your level progress and rings unlocked! (Although I don't think you can level up further because of private play)

Cons:
- No reconnect function if someone's internet dies
- Your cards save will be cleaned and you will have to find all the cards again to see them in the card gallery (whatever, though, you can BACKUP your saves if you check the Written Method of this guide!)
- No Dragons DLC
- No costumes that came out after this patch such as Bandit's Skins
- Can only play in Private Play (I think, although, maybe Public Games would work, but I haven't tried it since no one plays in this version!)
- AGAIN! IF YOU DON'T WANT TO LOSE YOUR CARD GALLERY PROGRESS BACKUP YOUR SAVE!!!!

(Written) Method:
Open the Run Command of Windows ( Windows + R )

Type: steam://open/console

Check Steam, there should be a section called "Console" now
In there, you have to type the following:

download_depot 290340 290344 1902473363697015456

The commands here, in case you are wondering what they mean:

"download_depot": the line that tells steam that you are trying to find a previous version of a game

290340 : ID of the game (Armello)

290344 : ID of the updates of the game (Armello)

1902473363697015456 : The 22 March Update of 2018.

As you type "download_depot 290340 290344 1902473363697015456" and then press Enter you will see that Console will show you that the game will be downloaded.

You will have to go to Steam's Directory -> Steamapps -> Content -> Follow these folders until you get to the new folder of Armello that's being created.

Steam will not tell you when this download has finished, you have to right click the whole folder and see when it finishes adding up numbers (Mine's weight is 1.63 GB (1,754,584,354 bytes) but yours could be different.

Once it is downloaded you have to go to your Armello Directory and either BACKUP AND MOVE EVERYTHING AWAY or DELETE EVERYTHING, then go to your Content folder where you downloaded Armello's DownPatched version, cut everything and put it in your Armello Folder (Make sure you don't overwrite anything and your Armello folder is empty)

Then, right click the game -> properties -> updates -> Automatic Updates -> Only Update This Game When I Launch It.

Then you are free to go, you can play with your friends.


WARNING: if you care about your CARD GALLERY SAVE, then backup your Save File that is located in (at least for me)
C:/Users/[Name]/AppData/LocalLow/League Of Geeks/Armello

But I honestly didn't really care as you only lose your Card Gallery, not your rings unlocked or levels.
