How to run BitBlaster XL via Super BitBlaster XL

Quick Disclaimer
You need to have both of the games on your pc for this to work. (kinda obvious but I wanted to point this out just in case lol.)

Why would I want to run BitBlaster XL via Super BitBlaster XL ?
Well if you own both of the games and you already have one of the games maxed on achievements and you cannot be bothered to get achievements on the other game then this is a good way to "transfer" the achievements from one game to other.

Note : The 7 achievements where you have to get a score of 1k,2k,5k.... in one round will not transfer with this method,
you will have to get them manually, although you can still get them while running one game via the other.
(which will make it a little bit easier since BitBlaster XL is bit easier than Super BitBlaster XL)

How to run BitBlaster XL via Super BitBlaster XL
the process of setting this up is fairly straightforward.

Step 1:
Install both of the game to your pc

Step 2:
Right click on "Super BitBlaster XL" in your Steam Library and hit "Properties". Following that, locate the "Launch Options"

Step 3:
Add the following line to your launch options:
"[game directory]\BitBlaster XL.exe" %command%

As an example, here's what mine looked like:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Bit Blaster XL\BitBlasterXL.exe" %command%

Step 4:
Hit "Play" and you should now be greeted with BitBlaster XL instead of Super BitBlaster XL.

FAQ

Does This also work for other games?
Yes It does, you can turn any non-Steam game on your PC into a Steam game via this method. This guide shows an example of how to run BitBlaster XL using Super BitBlaaster XL. You only need to have 1/2 games in your steam library for this method to work.

It does not work with every game though. Some games do not know how to interpret %command% launch options and immediately crash, so I recommend you to test it for yourself and see what works.

How long will you be able to do this for?
As long as Steam continues to allow the use of this command via launch options, it will continue to work!

If you have any other questions feel free to ask them in the comments and I will try to answer you as soon as I can.
