Downloading SteamCMD.
1 : Downloading SteamCMD
Steps
  • Download SteamCMD.
  • **NOT REQUIRED** : Create a folder for SteamCMD and extract it in there.
  • Open a command prompt window in the folder.
  • Type
    cd C:\steamcmd steamcmd
    inside the command line.
  • Press enter.
Logging in SteamCMD.
2 : Logging in SteamCMD
For security reasons, it is recommended that you create a new Steam account just for your dedicated servers.
  • Anonymous : Type
    login anonymous
    to login anonymously.
  • Account wise : Type login [steam username] then enter your password. ** THIS IS FROM THE STEAM WIKI. NOT TRYING TO STEAL YOUR ACCOUNT **
