100% Achievement Guide
By Fenom007
A 100% achievement guide for Save the Ninja Clan. This guide will not be a full gameplay guide or walkthrough, just an achievement walkthrough that will help you to get every achievement. This game should only take anywhere from 2-4 hours to 100% with minimal difficulty for most people.

It is worth noting that when you beat the game with the secret ending, you unlock a special suit that lets you freely change between all 3 regular suits in the game at will. This does not disable achievements and can be used to get the harder things done in this game if you're really struggling with something..

If you can think of any way this guide can be improved, then feel free to say so in the comments.

If this guide was helpful to you, feel free to give it a positive rating. Thanks!

The achievements in this section are ordered by when you can start achieving them/when you would normally get them.

Seppuku

Kill yourself with your own weapon.

Before entering any levels, you can go to the right in the overworld and find a launch-pad. All you need to do is throw a kunai at the same time as getting launched to get hit by your own kunai, and die. Make sure you keep holding right after getting launched so you keep up with your kunai.

Spontaneous Combustion

Explode 50 times

You will probably end up with this achievement (and the others mentioned at the bottom of the Spontaneous Combustion section) by the time you get all the others. If you would like to just get them out of the way, then you can get them in level one.

At the beginning of level one, there is a saw-blade directly to the right of where you spawn. Just hold right until you've reached 50 attempts on the level and this achievement will be yours.

During this process you will also end up getting Never Surrender, 2 Stones 1 Bird, and Death is my friend!. If you continue for another 50 deaths you will also end up with You're good at dying.

Never Surrender!

Attempt a level 10 times.

2 Stones 1 Bird

Attempt a level 25 times.

Refer to Spontaneous Combustion

Death is my friend!

Die 50 times.

Refer to Spontaneous Combustion

You're good at dying.

Die 100 times.

God Like

Kill 50 enemies.

You will easily get this during your journey to 100% on this game, but if you would like to grind it out, you can just pick any enemy and kill them repeatedly. The earliest possible option would be to just kill the enemy in the first level, restart the level, repeat.

Killing Spree

Kill 25 enemies.

Refer to God Like

Teachers Pet

Beat a level with an A+ time.

This can very easily be obtained on level one. Pretty much just hold right and never stop holding right. Time your kunai and jumps well and you'll get this no problem.

Beat Level One

Beat the first level

Refer to Teachers Pet

Eat My Dust

Beat the first boss.

The first boss is after level 10 at the end of the first world.

The Legend

Beat 10 levels without dying.

For this achievement there's actually a little bit of a trick that you can use to get it much easier.

Start from the level after the level you find the hardest in the original 10 levels (for me, the hardest level would be 9, so I will start on 10). From there, play through each level, making sure to move on to the next level after each completion. When you get to the first boss, complete it, and after selecting "Next Level" from the completion menu, you will be taken to the second world. From the second world, you can go back to the first world via the portal to your left. After arriving back in the first world, go back to level one, and enter it. Complete levels until you get the achievement. Being kicked into the overworld by completing the boss level will not reset the counter, and by using this strategy, you will be able to skip the hardest level of the original 10 for you (as the boss level is technically an eleventh level in the first world).

You will have restart from your desired level if you: restart from the pause menu, restart after a level completion, quit back to the overworld from the pause menu, quit back to the overworld after a completion, or die.

Battle Hardened

Beat 5 levels without dying.

Refer to The Legend

I Am > Than Mechs

Beat the second boss.

The second boss is after level 10 at the end of the second world.

Who's Laughing Now

Beat the third boss.

The third boss is after level 10 at the end of the third world.

You will need to beat the final boss normally in order to obtain this achievement. Getting the secret ending will not award you with this, so you will need to beat this boss fight at least once this way and once the secret way, in whichever order you prefer.

Completely Completed

Complete all the levels.

This will be granted to you after you have beaten all levels and bosses in the game. Using secrets to complete levels is valid and will still grant you the achievement.

There are 30 normal levels in the game and 3 boss fights.

Living on a Prayer will unlock after beating level 16 (if you're going in order).

Living On a Prayer

Beat half the levels.

Collectables
The Collector

Collect 15 Collectables.

This achievement requires you to be holding 15 collectables all at one time. Not get 15 collectables in total. If you mess up and spend some collectables too early, you can still get the achievement by either collecting more collectables (there should be about 33 in the game or so), or you can save this for last and erase your save data after getting everything else to go and get 15 collectables.

Collectables look like this.

There is one collectable in each level of this game, including boss levels. You do not need each one, so if one is giving you a lot of trouble, you can feel free to skip it. If you wish to unlock each upgrade (each costs seven collectables) then you will require 21 collectables. They are not hidden (more-so just placed in precarious places) so this section will not go in to detail about their locations.

No credit card required

Unlock something.

Do not spend collectibles before getting 15 in your inventory all at once if you are going for The Collector.

You can unlock special kunai/upgrades at the tables in each world.
Secrets
Stop breaking the game.

Complete 10 secrets.

I believe that in order for secrets to be counted, you only need to enter them, but I'm not sure. If anyone confirms whether or not this is the case, I will give credit in the guide.

This section will include the 11 first (and therefore easiest) secrets in the game (one of which is pointed out for not counting towards any achievement), for people that would like to get this achievement out of the way as fast as possible. For the secrets tied to individual achievements, find what level they're on in the achievement description, then find that level here (their levels will also be in bold). The remaining secrets will be left out of this guide for people that want to find them themselves, if they are having fun with the game.

Note: The first two boss levels have no secrets.

Level 1: For the first secret in the game, you will want to jump past the scroll at the end of the first level, on to the blinking platform. Continue going right until taken to the next level.

Level 2: In level two you will come across a blinking piece of the ground to the left of the grenade launcher. Going into it and going left will grant you You fell for it!. Going right will advance you to the next level.

Level 3: In level three there is a spinning cloud about the missile launcher. Jumping onto the platform above the missile launcher and jumping again will get you on top of the cloud. Doing this a second time will advance you to the next level.

Level 4: After spawning in to level four, go left, jumping onto a cloud. After jumping on a few clouds, your controls will be reversed. From here, you will want to either go right for Controls Reversed, or continue going left to advance to the next level.

This secret doesn't count for any achievements. After making it across the big gap of water, you can jump on top of the large dirt pillar and the developer will have a comment about it.

Level 5: At the end of level 5, you will see an enemy sitting on a blinking rock. Killing the enemy and sitting on the rock for a period of time will prompt the developer to talk to you and eventually advance you to the next level.

Level 6: While running, you will come across your first enemy below you after pass the grenade launcher. Just after this enemy, you should see a part of the ceiling blinking. Going in to the ceiling and going left or right will advance you to the next level with different dialogue from the developer depending on which way you choose to go.

Level 7: Just after starting level seven, you will see an enemy sitting on a row of explosives. Blowing up those explosives and falling into the hole afterwards will bring you to a secret.

Level 8: At the start of level eight, you will be jumping across jump-pads, avoiding saw-blades. In the second group of jump-pads, before the launch-pad, you will see a jump-pad that is lower than the rest. Using this jump-pad will take you to a secret.

Level 9: At the very beginning of level 9, you will start by scaling a wall of saw-blades. After scaling this wall, turn left, and jump into the dimmed saw-blade. Continuing left will grant you Smiley.

Level 10: After going in to level 10, move to the very far left of the level. You will see a blinking rock hanging from the side of the left most area of the level. Jump down and touch the rock to reach the secret.

Level 11: This secret is located just to the right of the spawn of this level. Just jump through the wall and continue walking right. You will be given Off to the Slammer! once you get teleported to the jail cell.

Level 19: After jumping through the wall, you will be teleported to a new location. Just run right, then left and you will receive Oops! Yea that's a bug..

Level 25: During level 25, you will see a cloud flashing red about halfway through. Wall jump up to that cloud to ride on it and get Cloud Nine.

Level 29: At the very beginning of level 29, you can jump up the platform directly to your right, then jump and dash left. You will land on a platform and be turned into a scroll. Complete the level in this form to obtain New Perspective.

For Debugging Only!

Find and complete the secret ending.

The entirety of this achievement takes place during, and after the third boss fight. Beating it with the secret ending will not award you with Who's Laughing Now, so you will need to beat this boss fight once the normal way and once this way, in whichever order you prefer.

Here is a quick list of things you need to do/that will happen for the achievement.

  1. Start by doing the fight normally until you reach the building
  2. Jump onto the roof of the building
  3. Once in the new area, wait for the collectable to spawn
  4. Jump over the door to grab the collectable
  5. Go right and stand on the boxes
  6. The boxes will disappear after jumping over 3-4 lasers
  7. Grab the black suit on the ground to dodge with and use the edge of the map to your advantage by jumping off, but turning back to land safely
  8. Grab the blue suit whenever you can safely do so
  9. Enemies will start to spawn, sit on the far left of the map, face right, and repeatedly attack until they are all dead
  10. Missile launchers will spawn, in which you will need to dodge by running back and forth with the blue suit
  11. The ground will break from the missiles, in which you will want to fall down and avoid any remaining missiles
  12. At the bottom, attack the chest until it breaks open
  13. The achievement and the ability to freely change suits at will are now yours, congrats
