Mariner Valley Transit System

Background
As the first colony on the red planet, Mariner Valley is the destination for almost every prospective Martian colonist. This population boom (along with the cities status as the headquarters of the Martian Terraforming Project) necessitated the creation of the Mariner Valley Transit system, a series of tunnels drilled through the rock to connect the various underground neighborhoods of Mariner Valley. This layout portrays the Innis Shallow Line from Aurorae Sinus to Innis Shallow via Narriman. The highlight of this line is the enormous bridge over the valley, from which one can view the terraforming towers that will one day transform the red planet into a verdant paradise. Every day thousands of commuters use this line, and now you can too!

Inspiration
This layout is based off the transit system of the same name seen in season 4 of The Expanse. If you want more info I would highly recommend it!

Packaged Mods
This layout includes a custom side hanging monorail created by me, along with custom track meshes to go with it. Those mods are also available in a separate pack if you want to use them yourself. The cliff mods inside the stations and in the valley are by Microcosmologist.

This layout was created for the 2022 Trackwork Comp.

NOTE: This layout is meant to be played with the time set to sunset, to replicate the orange hues of the Martian atmosphere.
