Established through the violent conquest of its neighbours through the 1880s-1900s, Spanish-speaking El Capitan was the quintessential banana republic complete with vast estates, grinding poverty and an arrogant aristocratic elite who cared little for the people they presided over.

The 1919 revolution has changed all that, the elite are gone and the people now have the power in the second socialist state on planet earth! Unfortunately, not all is well, the country is blockaded by imperialist powers and its only friends are a distant Soviet Union and the gigantic People's Republic of Transafricasia. Which will be a giant warzone for the next 10 years and unable to help!
