Vanquish the Kraken in 7 shots of the cannon.

The shot counter only goes up when you actually hit the Kraken, so if you miss the Kraken, the counter won't tick up.

Turned out I think it's because my internet went down mid game, when I loaded it up and exited later it acknowledged it

Are you sure you didn't miss him? The counter ticks only when you hit him.

Skipped to the Kraken did it in 7 like above but didn't get the achievement :(
