JR-Freight TaKi 1000 tank wagon

The TaKi 1000 is a 45-ton tank car for transporting gasoline that was introduced in 1993 by Japan Freight Railway. This high-speed tank wagon can run at a maximum speed of 95 km/h. Its large diameter tank and small wheels allow it to carry a 45-ton load.

The livery of Japan Oil Transportation (JOT) will be available from 1993, and the livery of Japan Oil Terminal (OT) will be available from 1994. JOT will be available in the U.S. Military Fuel Transportation livery starting in 2012 and the 1000th cars anniversary livery starting in 2021. OT is also available in standard blue, with the first blue stripe and in the OT 40th anniversary arrow feather livery.
