How to quickly and easily beat the game.
Go Bat-gun + Abby.

Simple as that, this gets overpowered fast.

Runes I use (by no means required, just unable to turn them off so I'm listing them)

Mysticism for extra freeze and burn, great for slowing the hoard when you're standing still late game.
Vigilance just so you can pick up more exp
Elemental Barrage just because it's a bonus that will apply pretty frequently with the build
Momentum just so you can pick up the exp faster
Wild Magic cause it's unusually strong and will pretty much make the entire hoard freeze.
Blessing because it's a free relic to start

Wild magic is a great one to aim for to make life easier, super strong at max level with a 25% chance to spread.

Never left click with this, just walk around, right click as soon as you reload and focus on dodging everyone and everything, what you want to work on is getting double shot and all of those upgrades as well as making sure to grab bouncing bullets and piercing, some extra summon / bullet damage goes a long way too.

You may have some trouble with the first boss if you haven't managed to get double shot and ice, but you can expect a super chill experience at least by the time you've killed the second boss providing you didn't get super unlucky with the unlocks.

Near the end you'll also want the unlock that gives you a 33% chance to not consume ammo whilst stationary but that's not a requirement for this at all.

Try to start with Double shot as your first or at least second level up if you can and make sure you start on your way to bullet bounce
Work on getting Frost mage and Frostbite for quick and easy clear, especially if you have wild magic.

If you manage to get ice, +1 bounce, double shot and back shot you should be able to or at least soon be able to stand still for the first boss.
16:18, level 9 I was able to afk the squiddy boy.

From that point onwards all you really need to do is stack reload speed, bullet / summon damage piercing and bounce and you should be able to almost fully afk the rest of the game (first main boss will probably require some dodging.)

Magic lens is a good one as once you're in the center not moving and your bats are flying to and from, past and through you they will go through the lens more than once and that extra bounce you can attach to it really shows

Knifey boy is useful for his 40% summon damage boost.

Tome of rage is a great curse / boost to take if it shows for you, if not hopefully grab tome of summoning

Anything that triggers on second, fourth shot etc is a superb addition and will proc very frequently.

You may notice if you have frostbite that tree's will die too.

I haven't heard of a build that allows you to let go of your keyboard like this quite yet, if not for having to right click after every reload I guarantee you would be able to just tape down your mouse and tab out for parts of this.

The pictures are taken from a half assed attempt, you can expect a lot better, especially if you don't want to just afk holding right click. If you plan on moving around a lot (or want an easier time collecting exp grab the fire ball relic.)
What you can expect.

be carefull doing an endless run, I'm about an hour in, and a quirk I found through a combo of lighting + lightning reload is that I can't stop firing (guide is very helpful)

Got my first win with this. Thanks! Super easy even though I only got freeze about 4 mins left

Thanks for this guide. It really works. I never made a full run before, but now I'm one of the people who can beat the game. Like Impatient Melon said, I also understood the upgrades a bit better.

What I think is, that the essential upgrades are definitely Double Shot and Fan Fire. After that the party starts. If you then focus on power up your shot frequency, reload speed and of course weapon damage, then nothing can stop you from that point on. Even if you get Frost Mage later during the run. Maybe this works for every build and is potentially the way to start?!

Just tried it out, can definitely confirm that it works. At one point all my bats just stood still for at least 4 seconds because every enemy was dead, so they had no where to fly to. Absolutely busted <3

Abby with any gun is basically a win lol

Im hoping it will carry me until darkness 15

Thanks for this guide. I used this strategy, but with Hina instead of Abby. With Hina you will have to use the right click, because your shadow dash is not only useful for escape, but you can eventually unlock the shadow dash automatic reload; which is super vital for this build. My recommendation is to go for Summon Damage/Speed upgrades as soon as possible; along with firing speed/reload speed. Once you unlock the automatic reload, you don't have to worry so much about reload speed, especially if you've got Summon Tome equipped. Ghost Friend is great because the Magic Ghost upgrade applies bullet effects. I also went for Magic Spears to get some of those Soul Shield drops from all my summon damage; which helped survivability.

I prefer an Abby + Cyclone Sword build. It's pretty similar to Abby + Bat gun but I find it's more fun :os_niko:

Be careful on endless. It'll seriously lag your game lol

Take dasher and use 1% of your brain and it's legit impossible to lose

Just wanted to say DAMN. Thank you, i have been struggling so much to even pass the level once. Now i am able with this method thank you. But not only that it has helped me to understand the upgrades better.
