The Mitsubishi A6M "Zero" is a long-range carrier-based fighter aircraft formerly manufactured by Mitsubishi Aircraft Company, a part of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, and was operated by the Imperial Japanese Navy from 1940 to 1945.

The A6M was designated as the Mitsubishi Navy Type 0 carrier fighter (零式艦上戦闘機, rei-shiki-kanjō-sentōki), or the Mitsubishi A6M Rei-sen.

The A6M was usually referred to by its pilots as the Reisen (零戦, zero fighter), "0" being the last digit of the imperial year 2600 (1940) when it entered service with the Imperial Navy. The official Allied reporting name was "Zeke", although the name "Zero" (from Type 0) was used colloquially as well.

As a long-term lover of the A6M fighter, this brings tears to my eyes. I made a bet with my friends that I would buy the Sunset Harbor DLC if someone made an A6M vehicle. Guess it's time.

Beautiful work, but a few technical nitpicks from a WW2 Japanese aviation geek here:
Generally speaking, this is an early-war Zero (A6M2), based on the wing chord ratio and the machine-gun grooves in the engine cowling: however, the A6M2 used a short-barrel cannon which did not protrude from the wing; the long-barreled 20mm cannons in the wings were only installed on late-war Zeroes (A6M3 and A6M5).

A small request: Is it possible to make a version without the central drop tank? That was used only on extremely long-range missions, and I feel it detracts from the look.
