A small-sized automatic machine designed at the Tula Instrument Design Bureau in 1992 as a more technological analogue of the SR-3 Vikhr automatic machine. In 1994, production began, and in 1995 the machine was modernized. Its main purpose is the use of special units of law enforcement agencies, as well as the role of a personal weapon of self-defense of military personnel.
