Introduction
Time: ~50-100 hours, Skill-based
Difficulty: 8/10
Missable Achievements: No
Online Achievements: No
DLCs needed: Yes, for "Mega Mix+ Master"

Project DIVA Mega Mix+ just dropped on Steam with no prior announcements!! With the exception of Mix Mode on the Switch Edition which required the joy-cons, you'll find all features to be made available in the PC Port. This is a quick walkthrough for 100% achievements.

You'll see the use of the number 39 quite frequently. In case you're curious, I'll explain why here. In Japanese, 3 can be read as Mi and San. 9 can be read as Ku and Kyu. 3939 is a common abbreviation in the Vocaloid Fandom, meaning San-Kyu Mi-Ku, which translates to Thank You Miku. The number 39 is essentially another way to say Miku.

Getting Good
The difficulty curve for the EXTREME and EX EXTREME Stages is relatively steep, especially if you're not used to playing Rhythm Games with Controllers. I recommend checking out hisokeee's youtube channel. He has a history of uploading guides for the Project DIVA series, and I've linked some below.

Project Diva MegaMix Practice Lessons for Beginners.
Project Diva MegaMix Practice Lessons for Intermediate players

As a beginner, you're prone to rely on your dominant hand in pressing buttons. The fastest and most effective method to get good is to master alternating button pressing with both your hands. Once you get used to this, you'll see a significant improvement when you attempt Extreme Stages.

Afterwards, work towards getting used to alternating triplets and recognizing double / triple notes. Practice all these until your eyes are able to instantly recognize the notes and pressing buttons become a muscle reflex. Learning hisokee's method of holding notes is completely optional.

You can also customize your Key Configs in your Customization Menu. Personally, I'm using the Playstation Notes (△☐XO) with the quad note presses mapped to both LT & RT. Everything else is at it's default settings. Now without further ado, let's get to the achievements.

Player Rank Achievements
Level up your Player Rank by clearing songs. The max player rank is 39, whereby you'll no longer gain Rank EXP. As of this writing, Player Rank does not unlock anything.

You can only earn a specific amount of Rank EXP for a single song based on your score, and it carries over for all difficulties of the same song. If you clear a song with a score of 80%, you need to score a higher score regardless of difficulty to gain more Rank EXP. Eg. If you've cleared an Easy Song with 80%, clearing the same song in Extreme at 75% gives you no additional EXP. You need to score over 80% regardless of which difficulty you pick of that song to gain more EXP, and the EXP earned through this method is miniscule to say the least.

To conclude, the fastest way to level your Player Rank is not by perfecting or scoring as high as you can for every song, but simply clearing each song once and moving on to the next. I recommend clearing Hard Mode as it also unlocks their respective Extreme Stages, unless you are farming for the PERFECT achievements, then Easy Mode is the fastest way to go.

Rank Up!
Achieved player rank 2.

Another Rank Up!
Achieved player rank 10.

Yet Another Rank Up!
Achieved player rank 20.

Mega Mix+ Master
Achieved player rank 39.

A lot of grind is needed to reach Rank 39. If you're a relatively skilled player and EXTREME stages pose no problems for you, then this is possibly the last achievement you might be grinding, alongside the playtime achievement. For reference, this is a screenshot of my Song Clear Stats I took right after I've maxed my Player Rank. I've cleared 212 unique songs to get here. Note there are only 178 songs in the base game, so you'll likely need the Extra Song Pack DLC to cheese this achievement.

Song Achievements

Welcome to the world of Mega Mix+!
Cleared the tutorial.

The tutorial will automatically play when you enter Rhythm Game mode. If you skipped it for some reason, you can still access it once again in Gallery. Watch it through to the end for the achievement.

Rhythm Game Clear Achievements
Only first-clears of each song will count towards the achievement, regardless of difficulty. You need to play new songs you've never cleared before on any difficulty for it to count.

Big Debut
Cleared a song in Rhythm Game for the first time.

Intermediate Rhythm Game Player
Cleared 50 songs in Rhythm Game.

Advanced Rhythm Game Player
Cleared 100 songs in Rhythm Game.

Legendary Rhythm Game Player
Cleared 150 songs in Rhythm Game.

Rhythm Game Clear Achievements (EXTREME)
You unlock EXTREME and EXTRA EXTREME mode after clearing Hard Mode for each song. If you're a beginner, these are the achievements you'll be spending most of your time practicing for. Heavily skill-reliant. Refer to the introduction on how to get good.

Only first-clears for each song and difficulty will count. First-clears for both EXTREME and EXTRA EXTREME for the same song will both count towards the achievements.

The Extreme Path
Cleared a song in Rhythm Game on EXTREME or EX EXTREME difficulty for the first time.

Intermediate Rhythm Game Master
Cleared 10 songs in Rhythm Game on EXTREME or EX EXTREME difficulty.

Advanced Rhythm Game Master
Cleared 50 songs in Rhythm Game on EXTREME or EX EXTREME difficulty.

Legendary Rhythm Game Master
Cleared 100 songs in Rhythm Game on EXTREME or EX EXTREME difficulty.

Combo Achievements
Clear any Rhythm Game of any difficulty with at least said number of combos for these achievements. Scoring a Perfect on any 2-3☆ Easy Mode Song should get you all 3, assuming it has more than 200 notes.

Combo Beginner
Achieved a 39-combo in Rhythm Game.

Combo Expert
Achieved a 100-combo in Rhythm Game.

Combo Master
Achieved a 200-combo in Rhythm Game.

PERFECT Achievements
With enough patience, these achievements are farmable on Easy Mode, only by getting full combo.

Only first-perfect-clears for each song and difficulty will count. First-perfect-clears for multiple difficulties of the same song will all still count towards the achievements.

Local Idol
Achieved a PERFECT in Rhythm Game for the first time.

Regional Idol
Achieved a PERFECT on 10 songs in Rhythm Game.

National Idol
Achieved a PERFECT on 50 songs in Rhythm Game.

Global Idol
Achieved a PERFECT on 100 songs in Rhythm Game.

Playtime Achievements
You'll get these naturally as you keep playing songs. You can check your Rhythm Game Playtime in Gallery > Records > Information.

Get in the Groove
Spent over 3 hours 9 minutes and 39 seconds playing Rhythm Game.

Diva is Life
Spent over 39 hours 39 minutes and 39 seconds playing Rhythm Game.

This is also possibly the last achievement you'll get if you're a skilled player and didn't spend a lot of time practicing. If you want to cheat, you can enable "No Fail Mode" before starting any song and AFK with an Auto-Clicker spamming on the Retry button at the end of the song.
Modules & Accessories Unlock Achievements
For these achievements, you have to unlock a number of Modules (AKA Costumes) and accessories for all characters. Play songs to earn VP and purchase these costumes in the Customization screen. Module Stylist Achievements

Entry-Level Module Stylist
Set a recommended module on any character for the first time (Song Specific only).

All songs will have a Recommended Module. The Module will be highlighted with a Star as shown below. Equip it and repeat for the other songs for the subsequent achievements. Some songs have the default modules as their recommended. These default modules do not count towards the achievement.

Credits to Gooba in the comments for this tip: You can press L2 + R2 while in the module selection to jump straight to the recommended module.

Talented Module Stylist
Set 10 types of recommended modules on any character (Song Specific only).

Only 1 character per song counts. So you'll need to set recommended modules for characters across at least 10 different songs.

Charismatic Module Stylist
Set 39 types of recommended modules on any character (Song Specific only).

Only 1 character per song counts. So you'll need to set recommended modules for characters across at least 39 different songs.
Fashion Designer Achievements

Entry-Level Fashion Designer
Used the T-Shirt Editor for the first time.

For this, just use the T-Shirt Editor in the Customization menu, draw anything and save it.

Talented Fashion Designer
Set an edited T-Shirt on any character (Song Specific only).

After saving the T-Shirt, head over to Modules to equip it.

Charismatic Fashion Designer
Set an edited T-Shirt on six characters in a song (Song Specific only).

You can do this for the Catch the Wave Song, where you'll play as 6 Mikus. Set an edited T-Shirt for each character for the achievement. If the achievement doesn't activate for you immediately after setting the T-Shirts on all 6 characters, switch to another song and have one more character wear it. It'll refresh the data and you'll get the achievement.

Miscellaneous Achievements

Cinephile
Watched all movies in Attract Mode Theater.

You can find the Attract Mode Theater in Gallery. Simply watch through all videos here. You do not have to watch to the end. Entering and exiting the video still counts towards the achievement.

Music Video Achievements
Fastest way is to create a Playlist of Songs in the Custom Playlists menu and play them for these achievements. You can also watch Music Videos in Rhythm Game mode by selecting a song and pressing the arrow keys on the D-Pad to toggle Music Video mode. You can check your Music Video Playtime in Gallery > Records > Information.

Music Video Rookie
Watched 3 minutes and 9 seconds of music videos.

Music Video Lover
Watched 39 minutes and 39 seconds of music videos.

Music Video Junkie
Watched 3 hours 9 minutes and 39 seconds of music videos.

I got level 39 without buying the DLC, but I had to get perfect score on 100 songs on hard and 70+ Excelent, so it IS posible to obtain the lvl 39 achievemnt without buying the DLC but is harder.

Anyway, thanks for the guide, it helped me a lot to obtain some of the achievements :D

Nice guide.

I have problem with the modules. I change and play the songs but it never counts my songs.

How to solve?

For those wondering, it is actually possible to get to rank 39 without DLC. It is barely possible though and requires perfecting many of the songs on hard difficulty.

I managed to get a Perfect rank on a song, but I wasn't given the achievement for it. Is there something I'm missing here, or did it just bug out on me?

I've managed to get every achievement on my ps4 with this game. But unfortunately the steam version came out right afterwards. Pain.
