Navigate to:

Steam\SteamApps\common\Call of Cthulhu\Engine

The Steam folder can be found in your Program Files folder (usually C:\Program Files (x86).

Once there, rename CoCMainWin32.exe to CoCMainWin32.backup

Download the replacement executable here[www3.zippyshare.com], and place it in the same folder as the old one.

Download the patch here[dcotetools.sucklead.com], and unzip it. You can place the DCoTEPatch.exe file wherever you'd like, but it makes sense to put it in the same folder as the game's executable.

Run the patch, press the Load button and navigate to CoCMainWin32.exe

I recommend enabling these options under the General Settings tab:

• Skip the blue light bug! (fixes a game-breaking bug)
  
• Allow skip of legal video (just so you can skip the logos at startup)

If you're interested in seeing the extended final cutscene, also enable:

• Always Show Extended End Movie

To fix the FOV (field of view), navigate to the Player Settings tab and adjust the paramaters in the FOV section to your liking. This down to personal preference, but for this game I like 90.0 for both FOV and FOV sneak mode. Please note that FOV changes will not take place until you start a new game.

After you have made the desired adjustments, press Save. The patcher will automatically create a backup of the unpatched file under the name CoCMainWin32.original.exe in the same folder.
