Passages
Passages are perfect for making a transition between two places, especially if there's a secret passage to a room full of candies.

CONNECTING: You can connect two passages by going into a default mode, selecting passage origin and right-click on the target passage.

Two-way passages
When making a connection, the target passage will automatically take player back to the origin passage so you don't need to make a double-side connection manually.

One-way passages
These kind of passages are not circular so once you enter them, you won't be able to return back through the same passage. These are good for making puzzles or even traps but be careful not to create dead-end passages.

Special types
There are also other types of passages in the game like this hidden bookshelf. This passage is enabled only once the bookshelf is opened (by the book switch in this example). Bookshelf acts as a two-way passage.

i would like to have a level editor guide in the level editor where you can choose some suggestions in a pop up window in the editor and another thing i would love to is to choose between making new level episodes with the level editor instead of only making workshop levels

I'd love just a general guide completely to the level editor, if I can be honest. I love the animated image you used too. If you wanted specifics, something about how to make ladders appear and/or how to use triggers or wtf parameters mean when it comes to putting Count Chuck's head onto the map etc.

Hmm, those should represent step group so if you jump on Stairs from group 1, only those from the same group should hide but I guess we have a bug here. Thank you for letting us know!

About collapsable stairs. What is the difference between type 1 and type 2 steps? When Johnny steps on either of them, both type 1 and type 2 steps disappear.
