• Nehrim is a free mod but you need to own and install The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion to play it.

• There is an in-game achievement system, but those achievements are mostly different from the Steam achievements. Some have different requirements and others may unlock much later in Steam than in the game.
  
• Mods or console commands can be used, they don’t disable achievements.

Missable. After crossing the rope bridge, you’ll come to the stairs shown in the screenshot. SAVE HERE. There will be lots of trolls running towards you. Pull the rope at the top of the first stairs to trigger the log trap next to you. You’ll need to time it right to kill at least 5 trolls.

Missable warning: These achievements unlock when you exit the journal after leveling up. It’s possible to miss an achievement if you level up twice or more in a row without exiting the journal so that you “skip” over a level. This can happen easily if you forget to level up or when you get lots of xp from quests or collecting the last few magic symbols. So remember to level up as soon as you can and always exit the journal if you’re about to level up several times in a row.

There is also an even easier way if you are ok with using console commands. Find a collectible that you haven’t picked up yet, select it in console by clicking on it, pick it up and then type “enable” to make it reappear. Repeat until you get the achievement.

Magic Symbol

Fire Spark

For this one you have to collect 200 rare plant collectibles combined. Very time consuming normally but easy with the console command trick.

Federal Bureau for Fortune Restriction
You gave your money to the Federal Bureau for Fortune Restriction.


Where: Baldur Bridge (north of Tirin Abbey)
Missable. Find the group of bandits at Baldur Bridge. They will ask you for money and you must choose to pay. Otherwise, they will attack you and you won’t get the achievement.

Find an easy enemy that does low damage, such as a rat. Make a save when you’re low on health and keep reloading until you get to exactly 1 hp from the enemy attacks. The achievement should unlock after a few seconds.

Soul Catcher
You bound 15 souls to soul gems.


Use a soul trap spell or scroll on an enemy and kill them before the spell ends to trap them, as long as you have a big enough soul gem. Trap 15 souls this way.

Book Worm
You read 100 books, some of them more then once.


You have to read 100 books but you can open and close the same book 100 times.

Tastes like Cherries - Yummy!
You just eat 100 ingredients.


Fire sparks and ice claws count too so you can get enough just by collecting those for other achievements.

Alchemist
You just brew your 100th potion.


You need a mortar and pestle to brew potions. Buy ingredients or collect everything you see and create 100 potions.

Collector
For wearing a full set.


Find and wear all parts of a full armor set. See the wiki for the sets and where they can be found.

The best way to get infected is to find a Diseased Deer in the forests in the middle of the map and let it attack you a few times. Use a Cure Disease potion or Mandrake Root to cure yourself, then repeat.

Deposit 130k gold in your account in Money And Greed Bank in Erothin. If you don't loot and sell almost everything you find, you'll probably find it pretty hard to get enough money. Some good ways are alchemy and the arena fights in Ostian.

Explorer

Travel Guide
You explored over 200 places on Nehrim.


Discover 200 places on the map. There are more than 200 locations in the game so you don't have to find them all, but still about 80-90 %. Look for icons on your compass or use this map[sureai.net].

Some Time
Some time has passed.


Play 30 hours in a single playthrough. The game should easily take more than 30 hours so you don’t need to idle for this. You can see your play time in the save/load menu.

Water Rat
Swim some distance.


The in-game achievement with the same name unlocks much earlier. I got it near the beginning of the game but the Steam achievement unlocked almost at the end of my playthrough. If you don’t have it at the end, you can swim in circles for some time.

Executor
You killed over 250 foes.


I had killed over 1 000 enemies when I unlocked this achievement. Most likely only human enemies count and any animals or other creatures don’t.

Spoiled Achiever
You achieved a lot by now.


Another slightly buggy achievement. It should unlock at 75 Steam achievements, but for me it unlocked at 78 (possibly because I loaded a previous save game after unlocking some achievements).

Probably unlocks after certain number of in-game achievements (75?) with one character.
