Infinite Hole (The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe)

Back in 2013, The Stanley Parable released on PC, featuring a wondrous-yet-silly narrative as you follow the story of Stanley, a worker for a mysterious office firm, whose every action is narrated by an unseen Narrator… or so the intent was, anyways. Seems that, on occasion, Stanley has his own ideas about where the story should go…


Two-and-a-half weeks ago, after a couple years of waiting, The Stanley Parable 2 (known in lesser circles as Ultra Deluxe) finally released, expanding the 2013 hit that all of us love! Well, except for Cookie9 and co., but we don't talk about them. And it's got a slew of wondrous new features that the Narrator himself cooked up for dear Stanley.

One of these ideas was the Infinite Hole! A pit one could plummet down for eternity, hyopthetically! And… that's it! That's the whole concept! It's wonderful, isn't it, it does not require any further elaboration. However, the Narrator's original take proved a bit, well… ineffective, so our peers at ALLOS Aperture have tweaked the concept a bit to make the ideal pitfall experience!

Map features included:
~ The Infinite Hole, repaired for optimal performance!
~ To exit the hole and teleport to the top, fire your weapon at the opening high above you!
~ It definitely doesn't end this time! For sure! We aren't cheating you out of a good time!
~ Endings? No, no, no, we don't have time for endings, not when you could be falling infinitely! There definitely aren't 3 distinct scenarios that one might consider as endings within this experience! Especially not in comparison with the source material!
~ And definitely don't try to leave the room! You came here for the whole experience, gosh darn it! No matter what reassuring noises you may hear past those walls, keep your hands off that door handle! Who knows what might happen if you leave?! You may gain the capability to change your reality, for all we know!
~ And who keeps highlighting my text?!

Anyways, I quickly whipped this map up on a whim, because I like the Infinite Hole. For some reason. My version's not as, ah, fully-featured as the original, but I like to think it's pretty close. It can be found under rp_apertureparable_infinitehole and rp_apertureparable_infinitehole_alt
