There are 4 pets in lost nova all waiting for you to find them
Pets will follow Mia everywhere she goes, help fetch items laying on the ground and give a significant feeling of companionship and bliss


You only need to befriend a single one of them to get the "Pet Ownership" achievement

Pets only become obtainable when you come back to the planet after repairing your ship and stabilizing the planet's core (finishing the game)



Then you'll need to got talk to the mechanic, they will tell your that their business has been on the decline since ships have stopped crashing on the planet, however this is no issue as they were planning to change things up in the shop



However that is if they end up being out of stock, as you'll understand you first need to buy everything that's on sale, once that's done, simply exit the area onto another part of the map and come back, the new shop will already be here and open, with an entire new, pet related stock



As you'll be told, you need a pet's bed before being able to find it, so make sure the buy the bed of the pet you want beforehand
The 4 pets are, the cat, the dog, the bee, and the axolotl!



So buy those beds and let's get searching

For this you will need to buy the cat bed and 1 unit of pet snacks

The cat is located in the painted desert in this spot in the robot village
Simply interact with the cat and it'll start following you, meow

For this you will need to buy the dog bed and 1 unit of pet snacks

The dog is located in the Roomwoods in this spot near the fisherfellow's house
Simply interact with the dog and it'll start following you, bork

For this you will need to buy the bee bed and 1 unit of pet snacks

The bee is located in the Shatterzone in this south area with the caged beekeeper
Simply interact with the bee and it'll start following you, buzz

For this you will need to buy the axolotl bed and the fishing rod

The Axolotl has a chance to be reeled in on every fish catch you get in any area, you should get it rather quickly, sploosh

And here we are, you can switch companion near the ship where all your pets will wait for you
If you buy the food bowl you can feed your current pet some pet snacks to make them happy

All pets behave and help the same way but probably each has a very unique personality, enjoy and thanks for reading!
