DUEWAG Stadtbahnwagen B (B-100S)

DUEWAG Stadtbahnwagen B (Light Rail Vehicle Type B) developed in the early 1970s for the Rhine-Ruhr Stadtbahn network. The initial variant (Type A) was not compatible with Cologne's existing tunnel and therefore a slimmer, lighter variant was developed. The Type A program was discontinued when the Type B proved more flexible, especially while street running.

Depicted in this mod is the B-100S variant, with 2*235 kW engines and a top speed of 100 kph. Up to 4 trains can be coupled, 256 PAX per train.

Included in this mod are 3 freely recolour-able decal options that allow the recreation of the most common liveries used on this type.

While initially produced only for the German market, vehicles have been exported second-hand to Turkey. The platform has also been used for various trams and light rail vehicles in the US and Mexico, some without significant modifications.
