- Brief Company lore (For context) -
In 2207, Nellco Engineering entered the submarine market. Right off the bat Nellco had made a Reputation for Cheap yet very feature-packed Submarines. The first submarine was a transport, part of the first series of submarines known as the LT (Light Transport) Series. Their reputation grew, and thus Nellco was able to pursue more important projects.

As years went on, it became increasingly obvious that the Dugong was outdated and clunky.
Nellco engineering, in 2211 started to pursue and idea; A compact submarine that can outclass the old reliable dugong.
The first prototype was developed in 2212, This version was much less developed, No armory, or fabricator room.
The project was cancelled months later due to it being "Not worth the work."
2 years later, in 2214. Nellco's head outpost fell victim to a Mudraptor attack. While all of the staff survived, the owner. Andi Niman and his chairman were killed in the main quarters, As that's where the mudraptor attack originated. While the rest of the staff escaped on a dugong. The submarine was manufactured in 2184 and had reliability issues. Not only that, it was slow, clunky, and overall hard to use. Something that plagued all dugongs. The engines failed, as did the reactor. While they made it to Vorta City, the ship completely brokedown a few days after they arrived and the docking hatch had a critical electrical error. And the submarine was lost into the void of Europa, likely due to the Reactor failing and causing a domino effect.

The 20+ staff members, had being cramped and anxious due to the problems of the submarine. Andrew Djem who captained the submarine and kept everyone calm, known to be a smart man and was one of the executives behind the company, was elected to be the new CEO of Nellco. After this experience, he had decided on making a new series of submarines, that had everything the dugong had, but more reliable, cheaper, and in a much more compact submarine. The Prototype submarine known as the Dwarf was selected to be expanded on and to replace the role of the dugong, as it was an old submarine, first made in 2178.

After a few years of hard work by the engineers in 2217. and many prototypes, such as the L.C Dwarf Crosser. The L.C Dwarf, Nicknamed the "Dwarf Dugong" was born. This Light Compact was as the nickname suggests, essentially a dwarf dugong.

The L.C Dwarf was extremely compact, 6 years of engineering allowed it to be the best it could be. By the time of 2219, it was the most sold submarine in europa. It's cheap, It's compact, It's a modern dugong, and it was also quite elegant.
