HMCS Coquitlam was the third of the Abbotsford class of anti-aircraft cruisers, although the first 2, Abbotsford and Delta, were scrapped partway through completion, technically making her the new lead ship of the now 2-ship class. Both ships would complete in 1946, during a Canadian-German war. Her sister ship HMCS Kamloops would be scuttled during this war after being unable to put out a fire caused from battle with 2 German heavy cruisers. Coquitlam would serve through that war and the US-Canadian war of 1954-1957.

This shows Coquitlam in her 1948 configuration, which she fought the US-Canadian war in.

This ship is designed to look nice first of all; don't expect her to be particularly functional or combat ready without a little bit of extra setup.
