SKIP COMPLETE STARTUP INTRO - SAVE 20 SECS EVERYTIME

This quick guide will teach you how you can skip the Halo Infinite Menu Intro and save 20 seconds everytime you start the game.

What to do:

Since the latest Season 2 update the original way of skipping the intro doesn't work anymore. I found a new way of skipping it completely. The main idea behind it is that instead of giving the game a different / shorter video file you'll give it a corrupted video file which will bypass the current checking system of the videos and skip the intro completely.

If you're using Windows 10 and not 11 you might just delete the intro.mp4 and Startup_Sequence_Loading.mp4 and end up having a fast working solution.

Instructions:

1 - Go to: ...\Steam\steamapps\common\Halo Infinite\videos
You can find this directory under "Browse local files" by right-clicking on Halo Infinite:

2 - Create a backup folder and drag "intro.mp4" and "Startup_Sequence_Loading.mp4" into your backup folder.

3 - Now in the main video folder right-click and create a text-file like this:

4 - Rename the textfile to "intro.mp4" - Ignore the warning and press Yes.

5 - Create another textfile and name it "Startup_Sequence_Loading.mp4".
Both of your files should now not have a preview picture like this:
(I am using VLC Media Player, thats why it just displays a traffic cone)

6 - PROFIT!
Enjoy saving 20 seconds everytime you start up Halo Infinite now.

yeah that is what I thought. this tutorial is quite old. probably there is a new way to do that.

Works great, just a crash on the first lunch of the game but now works great!

i wihs i could test this game ,i switched from 1060 to 2070 and last time i played over a year ago ( win 10 ), now win 11 on steam there is authentication problem and game wont play and epic it says the content isn' t installed and im waiting in menus , fixing character but cannot connect even to quick match

You'll download some shortened videos which will reduce the waiting time. You can also just shorten the videos yourself.
