Selene Is back after almost 2 years

A complete Overhaul worth it's own Spot on steam


Try her NEW 360° Teleportation and stun your enemies with afterimages.

DStrong/Ustrong;
Selene is intangible during the chargewindow

DStrong;
can spike oponents, but they can tech so keep your eyes open to tech-chase them afterwards

UTillt;
sweetspot at the very end of the move has a small Stun to it for Arial combo followups

FAir;
Can be charged by holding attack
Has a weak Hitbox behind Selene and a Stronger Hitbox in front of her

NSpecial;
Leaves behind a afterimage off Selene that can Stun the opponent for a short time on contact
The Crystal indicates NSpecials cooldown after using it

DAttack;
Is technically airborne and you can reduce, increase or even fast fall and REVERSE her movement

Backroll:
Covers twice the distance of a normal Roll, has a different animation,
But is also precise to input so you might need to get a feel for it

There's a lot of potential with this glitchy bird concept, and having those incomplete clones from time to time adds a lot of character, so good on you!
But tbh, scraping 4 specials in exchange of that TP... Idk, I don't buy it. It would be better if the TP was only on nspecial and you could keep the button pressed if you wanted to aim, or if you did nspecial and then the direction with precise timing, so she could still have a "complete" moveset.
But regardless of that, the character idea and concept is sooo sick.
Selene 3 when? lol jk

About her "useless DSpecial, I removed it:
1st, cause it didn't add a lot to her overall
2nd, cause it never worked too well, and I wasn't bothered to fix it (though I probs could)
3rd, Mostly because she now has full 360° TP, and a different DSpecial only messes with her overall game feel!

as for the NSpecial, i might speed up the move overall, but I did it so because old Selenes NSpecial was a bit overturned Imo

Smoother, missing the useless down-B, and still making me wonder where the concept of glitch bird came from. That said, I would recommend playing with the lag on clone. Old Selene did it in an instant, which gave heavy combo damage in exchange for their miserable pokes

the concept behind selena overall is great. IMO I think the thing that prevents me from enjoying her is her jab moves.It is weak and the range is extremely low. When I saw selena 2, I thought that would be fixed but still the same. It is a great character. Maybe it is just not for me.
