SRBM-2 Shturm Mobile SRBM System

DESCRIPTION

The SRBM-2 "Shturm" is a Mobile SRBM System designed for long range, high-precision, effective and low cost strikes on enemy static positions in addition to targets generally behind the front lines. It has extremely high accuracy owing to its ballistic arc & has optional radar terminal guidance to allow the missile to actively land on targets within a GPS designation, giving the missile a basic anti-ship capability as well as highly accurate ground-to-ground abilities.

The SRBM-2 "Shturm" is the upgrade given to current SRBM-1 "Abacus" missile systems, providing them with enhanced accuracy, firepower, ease-of-use and for the truck itself, a better engine & drivetrain.

HOW TO USE: (PLEASE READ BEFORE COMMENTING)

To use the missile system:

- Make sure the trucks battery is ON so that the systems on it can be used.
- Go to the MISSILE OPERATOR seat, press STATION POWER at the top right.
- Press EXTEND LAUNCHER and EXTEND STABILIZERS.
- Input an XYZ target:
- To input a XYZ target with the keypad, put your coordinates into the keypad at the bottom of the lower monitor and then press the INPUT WAYPOINT button, use DESIRED APEX to change the arc of the missile's flightpath & TARGET ALTITUDE at the top left of the upper monitor to change the target locations altitude.
- To input an XYZ target with the map, press T on the top monitor, and press somewhere on the map. Use the TARGET ALTITUDE keypad as your modifiers.
- Press TRH on the bottom monitor to toggle TERMINAL RADAR HOMING. This will make the missile search using its radar before hitting a GPS target.
- Press MASTER ARM at the bottom right.
- Press FIRE SELECTED PYLON to fire the launcher, press PYLON INCREASE to select the second missile.

Startup Procedure:

- BATTERY ISOLATOR
- ENGINE IGNITION
- GEAR UP

DEFINITIONS:

- TRH: Terminal Radar Homing, this will make the missile search for targets just before hitting a GPS target for more precision hitting vehicles.

- XYZ REQUIRED: The system has not detected any GPS target put in.

- V: Show range between launcher & target on the map screen.

- T: Input an XYZ target using the map screen.
