thats archive that contains edited vmt files, and backup of non-edited
WARNING - After replacing with archive some models started burning by itself
well, idk how to fix the source of problem, but i added backup of VMT files, so you can just put them back, also you can do the same thing with adding override materials and move $detailblendfactor
Step 1
theres 2 folders with edited and non-edited vmt files
IN FIRST if you want to get files back - put "game" from folder "backup" into ...steamapps\common\sourcefilmmaker\ and apply all changes
and for newcomers trying to make models burn - put "game" from folder "edited" into ...steamapps\common\sourcefilmmaker\ and apply all changes
Step 2
If you still have running SFM - type mat_reloadallmaterials in console to reload all textures and apply file changes
All strings list
Step 3 - applying burning
add ovveride materials
Viewer>Modelmove to Show in Element

find strings that are for your model and add attribute "float" with $detailblendfactor in it:

and now there is appears this what you can change to needed your result

"Its only mercs! But i also want to see cosmetics burning too!" and how to redact these files by yourself
In first of all - download[gamebanana.com] and install VTF editor (also it needs Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 im not sure which version needs, cant check it cuz already installed, it would say it to you manually )
choose needed tf2 cosmetic
add override matterials and go to models element viewer, there will be textures string that shows the path of file
open same named file that are .VMT (NOT .VTF) and find these strings:
and add slashs to 4 strings:
and then save file:
after that - reboot sfm or type mat_reloadallmaterials in console

And now it done:

I use the "Material Proxy Variable Sliders" script to control the burning texture to appear and disappear. Here: https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1393076955

Maybe the solution is in to make the "clone" models and put them to other directorie of sfm, cuz this effect is no need to use everytime, and turning it off for models every time - kinda sux
