Mind if I ask if you're on Windows 11? I tested on 10 but I'm guessing people have tried it on 11 by now... Maybe try run in administrator mode?
Also, if you use a different DPI scaling, maybe try:
Properties -> Compatability tab -> click "change high dpi settings" button -> Override high DPI scaling behavior, choose application.
While in compatability tab, maybe try disabling fullscreen optimization too.
maybe DxWind could help if nothing else.
Playing through a virtual machine would be the solution worst case.
Have you tried right clicking the trainer -> properties and try running in compatibility mode for windows XP?
I've recently started using an app called "game companion" for running full screen games as windowed mode or "virtual fullscreen". Maybe give that a try if minimizing the game causes issues.
Also, make sure you're using "BigPond/Trymedia" as the guide mentions.
