And with an earlygame version of Oiled, surely we need a new flamethrower to make use of it...
I always had the same fascination with the whole 'power of friendship' trope, it's overdone but I so don't care. Quantity is a quality all on its own.
Anyway, I haven't actually done a yo-yo run yet since they seem a little bland, hopefully they'll get rebalanced next update. Old swords are really fun to use now, like the Light's Bane and Blade of Grass. Right now my favorite melee subtype is flails.
DnD talk aside, I applaud the dedication to upkeep this guide for years, putting in descriptive storytelling along with proper advice to makes it all the more magical.
Been thinking of coming back to Terraria over waiting for the next toy batch drops, maybe True Melee/Yo-yo could give me the same grace and style Summoner had. Might change my mind if Melee lacks the close up fights after the projectile weapons clearing half the screen.
I'm mostly jesting of course. Most of my challenge runs are usually pretty absurd (Vilethorn or Flail-type weapons only), but maybe you could explore other classes to get a feel for their playstyle. Melee got a very nice glowup in recent years. Maybe if you're fortunate you can have a good friend to play with.
Outside of that, maybe hunt some achievements, or build something nice. That's pretty relaxing sometimes.
But I have a question for you, Kascin: What's next? What should be my next challenge, in your experience?
Yes, oftentimes a bad multiplayer experience can ruin the game for people, but you chose to get back up and forge your own path. That's commendable.
Congratulations on completing your first real run. I'm happy I could play a part in this journey for you. Can't wait for the next update either
An year and half ago, I decided to open Terraria without any guides (a whole lot of emotions difficult to get back after beating the game). It was all fun and excitement, and there I found the first summoner items, immediately it become my way to play. I never tried any other class, it was love at 1st sight.
Then, I invited some friends to see what I was building, they showed up with Expert mode gear, and I was in pre-hardmode. in 5 min, wall of flesh was dead... and the game experience for me too. I decided to close the game, give it a break to start all again, finish it by myself, as a Summoner.
Few months ago, I felt it was time to go back, to summon again. And then, I found this guide..... and It was amazing! I read the tips and gear advice, laughed with your jokes, but skipped all the bosses topics to find my way through each one.
