Welcome!
This guide is made to attract attention of Oblivion community to the fact that we don't have something that was present in the original Xbox version of the game - achievements. In this guide you will see achievements for Xbox version of the game (60 achievements in total).
I also encourage you to send feedback to Bethesda asking for achievements support via Bethesda official website [help.bethesda.net].

The achievements are entirely pointless progress trackers anyways. Not even an achievement for the Nirnroot quest. Even Fallout 3 had a few that weren't just "do the major questlines"

There's a mod to add the achievements as a list within the game. Not as steam achievements though, obviously.

As someone who 100% Skyrim achievements on two systems (working on my third) and Oblivion on xbox 360, I agree. I also think they would get more sales. The only reason I bought it here was to play the dlc I never got on 360, but if the achievements were here, id be more willing to pay full price for a game I already own and have beat on another system.

I don't know if this has been suggested already, but how about better names than just what you get in ranking when you do it. Like, for the 'closed an Oblivion Gate' one, how about 'To Hell and back again!', referring to the sigil stone ejecting you to the gate's opening in Cyrodil. And some better descriptions too, like, for 'Champion of Cyrodiil', the description should be 'Ended the Crisis'. Just a suggestion.
