There are some things the game doesn't tell you or that can easily escape you if you don't pay close attention.

• Swords make your attack stronger
  
• Magic increases your attack range
  
• Outfits increase your attack speed
  
• Backpacks give you potion slots
  
• You can look up and down by holding up and down respectively
  
• Every time you die you respawn with one less heart. Once you hit 0 you respawn at the level start unless you activated a checkpoint structure.
  
• There is no h-content in the game but people on your friends list are gonna judge you anyways.

Magic mode is unlocked after your first playthrough. It gives you unlimited mana and all abilities from the beginning. Unlimited mana means unlimited dash and blocking which makes getting all items and beating all Ymir challenges much easier. So just enjoy your game the first time around and don't stress finding everything. You have to complete magic mode anyways.

The achievements don't really need a detailed explanation. This is what you need to do for 100%:

• Complete the game on normal mode (unlocks magic mode and the first Wife Quest)
  
• Complete the first Wife Quest
  
• Complete the game on magic mode
  
• Collect all chests, pictures, notes
  
• Punish every monster girl once
  
• Buy everything from the store
  
• Complete all of Ymir's challenges
  
• Go to the shop after every level and talk to Ymir
  
• Defeat Morganna in Grasslands in magic mode

I recommend going for collectibles on your magic mode playthrough. You start with unlimited mana and all abilities. The same goes for Ymir's challenges. Especially the speedruns are much easier with unlimited mana.

Fine. Here's the entire list. In case you don't understand what "collect all items" or "start a new game" means.


Start a new game. Easily missable if you keep quitting the game right after launching it.
Lose the fight against Morganna in Grasslands. Unmissable.
The achievement for defeating her is gained on the second playthrough in magic mode.

Defeat all bosses. The best way to do this is to defeat all bosses. Unmissable, probably.
Complete the game. You're not a video game journalist, are you?
Go to the shop after every. Single. Level. Don't skip Ymir day.

Buy all the equipment from the shop. Missable if you're poor.
Collect all hearts and mana crystals. Most of them are bought from the shop and the rest are found in boss chests. Some boss chests require certain abilities to reach them so you have to backtrack. Best done in magic mode.
Start the game on magic mode and finish it. Magic mode is unlocked after beating the game on normal mode. Normal mode is unlocked after purchasing the game on Steam.
In magic mode you're finally out of bubblegum so you can kick ass. Unlike Morganna who is still chewing. No, really. Just look at the image.
Defeat her in your first encounter with her.

Ymir challenges require you to collect all items, kill all monsters, beat each level in a certain amount of time and lose your virginity irl. And you were wondering why the completion rate is only 1.7%...
Play through a level first before attempting the speedrun. All puzzles will be solved and the bosses are gone.
This game mode is available from the main menu after beating the game once. You have only 3 hp and there are no checkpoints so just blame the controls if you can't beat it.
Just be yourself.
Collect all boss chests. The hidden ones require all abilities so collect them in magic mode.
And here are the boss chests you were actually thinking of. Don't pretend you weren't. Everyone on your friends list is already judging you so you might as well enjoy the view.

Collect all the musical notes. Just like the boss chests they're best collected in magic mode.
You can get gallery images by defeating bosses, finding them in levels, completing Ymir's challenges and Ymir sells some images of herself in her shop.

To the left of the starting house.

On the right side of the pit with the platforms on Greek pillars is a fake wall.

Drop down at this location.


At the same location to the left behind a fake wall.

Right before leaving the screen, drop down through the platform.

Not really hidden but easy to miss. Instead of going up over the moving platforms stay down and go all the way left.

Directly above the red chest on a platform to the right. Needs dash.

After the pillars and past the checkpoint. Go through the spike tunnel and drop down before the moving platforms. Mind the gap.

Stay at the bottom and go past the pillars. There is a fake wall on the right.

After the checkpoint drop down at the location where you can see the two large chests. Go left through the fake wall. The mushroom only appears after going through the wall.
From the platform next to the two large chests jump, dash and glide right. Alternatively glide right from the top of the elevator that takes you to the two large chests. Needs glide (and dash).
After the purple vines take the first shroom up into the fake wall on the left.

After the big heart chest drop down and go left through the fake wall.

Take the mushroom at the checkpoint up and go as far up and right as you can. Jump over the falling leaves to the treasure platform. This is really random and a hassle without dash and glide so better come back later.

From the platform dash over the wall to the right to get a picture. Requires dash.

Go up the first mushroom on the highest grass platform on the left. Jump over the leaves into the fake wall on the left. An elf is waiting for you inside.

Go to the top of the secret room and jump over the leaves to the wooden platform with mushrooms (can also be reached from below with leaves). Jump up and go left.

Continue right to the top right exit of the screen. Drop down at the wall or ride a leaf down and jump into the fake wall.

Drop further down to the bottom right corner.

Right before the checkpoint at the bottom of the leaf pit. You will have to come back when you got the charge attack.

At the first death pit under the first platform.

Take the mushrooms up and go all the way to the top left corner on the platform with an elf and some treasure chests. Drop through the platform to the one below

Go back all the way to the top on the crumbling platform but jump and glide right this time.

Right before the exit sign drop down at the wall and hold right.

From the checkpoint go all the way up. Jump on the jump pad and glide over the spike barrier into the fake wall on left.

Before leaving the screen to the right, drop down.

After the wooden platform charge up on the yellow block.

Go up the second pair of perpendicular moving platforms. Jump and glide to the right from the platform with the chests. Use the charge attack to break through the walls.

Go to the top right corner of the screen and jump through the fake ceiling.

Before leaving the screen drop down.

Go all the way to the left and from the crumbling platform jump through the fake wall on the left.

Go to the top right and bottom left first. Straight left is the next room (point of no return) and you will miss the chests in 10.1 and 10.2.
Hit both switches and go through the gate it opened.

All the way to the right.

Right above the checkpoint. Requires dash.

After breaking the first wall, break the ground between the two girls with the clubs.

Go further right and break the wall above the right green chest.

Above the room you just broke into there is another breakable wall. Charge up your attack, dash up and break the wall.

Go up and left through some breakable walls then break the wall on the left of the second elevator.

After jumping over the lava with the jump pad at the sign pointing down right jump and charge up.

Go up the elevator right above the checkpoint. Go through the fake wall on the right.

Dash up to the platforms above.

At the bottom switch that you had to reach by jumping over platforms floating on lava. Jump up at the right wall.

Destroy the ground at the left switch.

After hitting both switches go through the red gate and drop down. Destroy the wall.

After the checkpoint take the jump pad up. Glide left across the gap.

At the switch glide to the left and then dash into the blue dash block.

The first time you see icicle platforms above, dash up. Go all the way up left and break the small plateau.

Go all the way to the top right and break the small plateau.

After the crossed bones sign where the arrow points up, glide down through the fake wall.


Go to the top right of the map and break the wall to open the way to 3.1-20.

Go to the top left of the map and jump on this platform, then break the wall to open the way to 3.2-20.

Go all the way right and do the dash block chain.

Go all the way left, shoot the orb, jump on the platform and do the orb puzzle. Then use the dash blocks to the left. Requires the bow.
Continue right after the checkpoint until you can break the ground. Drop all the way down and go right.

Before going to next map break through the ground.

At top right checkpoint where camera pans left, jump through fake wall.

At the top left checkpoint dash through the fake ceiling.

At the bottom right checkpoint use the dash blocks and then break through the wall.


At the checkpoint with the dash blocks glide right over the spikes.

At the same checkpoint go up left and shoot the orb. The note is photoshopped because I was tired and picked it up before taking a screenshot. But it's pretty good, isn't it? You wouldn't even have noticed without me telling you.

Go to the bottom right corner and break the wall to open the path to 16.1-20.
How did I manage to get a screenshot without the girl? Anyways, the wall was where the spike pit is.

Go to the top left and break the wall to open the path to 16.2-20.

Solve the puzzle to get to the top right corner for the dragon chest. Bow required.

Shoot the orbs while going left. Bow required.

After the 2nd platform stops jump and dash up.
