supporting gauntlets
good supporting gauntlets are ones that combo with wind:
the top three would be electric, fire, and poison
Ice would work fine, but it's not optimal unless you're going for air snipes
earth sucks with wind. DO. NOT. USE.

the best would be electric because it is quick and does decent damage.

remember not to use the wind quick spell unless you're trying to gain height. it doesn't do enough damage.
runes
the best rune is featherfall for wind because it launches you into the air, increasing your attack damage. The reason for this is because of your abilities sudden gust and squall.

springstep and flight also work, but they are not that good.

you can use other runes, but only for mixups and schmovement.
talents
Through lots of testing, I've found that the best set is curious, dexterity, and fortitude

curious increases your chance of getting scrolls which can help you buff your dexterity and fortitude which will be optimal.

dexterity lets you stay in the air longer which is amazing for squall and sudden gust.

fortitude can he belpful for defense, but mystical, vampiric, and thirsty can help too.
other things
always chose a female character because they have smaller hitboxes. this applies to all gauntlets.

if you have teamates tell them to get Ice, fire, or earth. these will be optimal.

always try to stay in the air even if you don't have squall. this is good practice.

don't wear artifacts because they increase your hitbox size, and sometimes even make noise.

practice (:
