OVERVIEW
Landmarks of Legend adds a variety of landmarks to locations all over the Warhammer world, with some landmarks granting access to special units and Regiments of Renown, while others grant new items or unique effects. Additionally, some landmarks can even grant Legendary Lords or Heroes if you have the companion mod Heroes of Legends enabled!

Currently, there are landmarks for the following factions:

- Ogre Kingdoms
- Legion of Chaos
- The Empire
- Vampire Counts
- Skaven
- Bretonnia

<<NOTICE>>
- Place Mixu's Unlocker above this mod (if you are using it)

- This mod will work fine without the Unlocker but you will lose the ability to build a large number of landmarks. This is because the Unlocker edits the startpos files and allows us to place buildings wherever we want. Editing these files would break compatability with most other mods.

- Heroes of Legend is a companion mod that implements new playable factions, Legendary Lords & Heroes recruited from landmarks. Both are intended to be used in conjunction with eachother.

- Many landmarks from the WH2 mod "Landmarks of the Old World" have been integrated into this one.

- If you have MCT enabled, then you can disable specific or all custom units added in this mod if you want to. This does NOT mean MCT is required to run this mod.

- The spreadsheet has a column called "Status" when you scroll right, which will tell you if a landmark is currently in-game (listed as "Implemented") or if it isn't yet (listed as "Planned").

- If you encounter a crash, please check if the crash occurs when it's just this mod enabled (and the Unlocker if you use it).

- If a crash occurs or content from new updates are not working, unsubscribing and resubscribing to the mod should almost always fix it (especially right after a new update).

- If you encounter any bugs, typos, etc, please post them in the Bug Report discussion.

- This mod works with The Old World map mod by ChaosRobie.

F.A.Q
Do you need to start a new game for these changes to appear?
- No, but some scripted effects (like granting ancillary items or mercenaries) will not work.

Is this compatible with Immortal Landmarks and Landmarks of Eternity?
- Yes.

SFO?
- If you intend to play this mod with SFO then use the SFO submod listed below.

Will the AI build these landmarks/Will the AI recruit these units?
- Yes to both but AI recruitment of units can also be disabled if you have MCT enabled.


FUTURE PLANS
- Rework/rebalance older landmarks, icons and units [Current Focus]

- Continue adding landmarks (leave any suggestions on the appropriate discussion page).

What CheesyRamen said above you is correct, OVN Lost World does not change anything about a settlement other than localisation (I made the majority of the landmarks in that mod so I'd know if there were some incompatibilties landmark-wise). The problem you're facing could be related to not having Mixer enabled or maybe some mod didn't install correctly.

What do you mean? RoRs and other units added in this mod should all be recruited from the regular recruitment panel after building their respective landmarks (unless you've manually disabled that in MCT).

I thought settlements have keys so the name can be changed but the underlying identifying key remains the same and everything is tied to that.

I finally figured out why some landmarks aren't displayed in OVN Lost World. It's because some settlements have been renamed! Do you know how I can fix this? Between a nice look and the substance of the landmarks, I prefer the latter. But I'd like to have both!

Yes, they do. All landmarks that are available to any faction + some Empire ones are enabled for the Southern Realms as well.
